One of the things I love most about photography is that within a single frame you can communicate so much without a single word.
A colleague sent me a link to a collection of photographs from photographer James Mollison called “Where Children Sleep.” It made my heart melt and made me laugh because of the amazing expressions and mannerisms he captured on the children (I mean, let’s be honest, images of us from those awkward years are truly laughable.)
Those images combined with a single shot of where they sleep gives us a brief glimpse into the unique joys and struggles of the child in each photo.
